Most of the swirl is contained in the top 1mm of thickness. if you intend on thinning out these blanks for usage (highly recommended), then remove it from the backside of the blank if you want to preserve the patterning. Due to length, this may not be able to be used with very long tanged / long blades. Please measure your razor before purchasing!
